This pleasant route runs almost entirely along the banks of the Sarela River and is full of places of interest, a reflection of the frenetic industrial activity of yesteryear. Along the route we find picturesque mills, old factories, fountains, washing places, … A truly worthwhile experience.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The river route of the Sarela River offers a walk between history and nature. Highlights include the de Os Tres Ollos Bridge, a medieval stone bridge, and the Sarela Bridge Factory, an old industrial enclave. The Washing Fountain of Pontepedriña de Arriba recalls the daily life of yesteryear, while the Picnic Area of the Ribeira Forest invites you to rest in the middle of nature. The tour closes with the charming Chapel of Carme de Abaixo, a silent witness of time.
