Corgo River

The Corgo River, also known as the Cuervo River, is a small river that rises in the municipality of Santiago de Compostela and flows into the Sarela River. The river rises in Meixonfrío, to the north of the city, in a spring next to O Corgo street. Its route is about 5 kilometers long and runs through some of the parks of the city of Compostela. There are also sections in which the river was artificially channeled underground as it passed through urban areas, such as street intersections or the old cattle fair in Salgueiriños.
