Hejduk Towers
They were designed in 1992 by architect John Hejduk as botanical towers for Compostela’s Belvís Park, but the project was ultimately scrapped. After Hejduk’s death, Peter Eisenman decided to bring back his friend and The New York Five – the group that best represents the spirit of architectural neo-rationalism – colleague’s project and proposed the towers be built in the Cidade da Cultura.
