Sarela bridge factory ruins
This factory is also known as the Ribeira de Saint Lorenzo factory, dating from the eighteenth century and closed at the end of the 50s of the twentieth century. The construction is at the foot of the Camino de Fisterra and remains in ruins, although a part of it was restored in recent times and used for housing. Its size indicates the importance of the leather industry in Compostela and its ruins preserve washing places, installation of the shell mill and pipes.
